Mafia II is out tomorrow, currently trying to come up with some money to pay off my pre-order.
Check out the Game Reviews to see what it's like. I, for one, have not. I want to be surprised. I just wanted to post this just because it's my personal favorite period of time/era and type of game, an open-world one.

After several hours of gameplay I think it's safe to say that Mafia II is amazing. The game is witty and subtly funny (I've had a few L-O-L moments). There have been several moments where I absolutely loved what was in front of me both gameplay-wise and story-wise. The level of detail is impressive. The game looks really, really good. In all, I'm very happy with my purchase.

After finishing the game a few days ago I feel that it really isn't worth a second play-through. The story is really something to experience. The open-world is really pretty, but that isn't enough to warrant multiple play-through's. Yes, it's sad. Yes, I am a little disappointed, but it is what it is.
I will be trading this in on another game soon. Maybe even this week, actually.
